I love playing guitar. I fell in love with the sound of the steel-string acoustic guitar at an early age, and I love it. For the purposes of this site, that's all you need to know about me. I want to be an artisan.
Now my first attempts at guitar were in the vein of such bluegrass flatpickers as Doc Watson, Tony Rice, and Bryan Sutton, but I also love Stevie Ray Vaughan, Chet Atkins, Joe Pass, John Williams, Brad Paisley, etc. I am trying to find a way to incorporate all the guitar sounds I can into a recognizable style of acoustic playing that creates an emotional response like the names above do in me.
